Our cleaning eyes ensure quick and easy access to ventilation systems for chemically contaminated process air. The generously dimensioned 90° outlet with screw-on dummy cover allows optimum accessibility for inspection cameras, cleaning tools and maintenance equipment. The robust screw connection of the blind cover ensures a reliable seal during operation and can be opened quickly without special tools if required. This significantly reduces maintenance times and lowers the operating costs of the entire system. At the same time, this design meets the current requirements of VDI 6022 for the inspectability of ventilation and air conditioning systems and fulfills the hygienic principles for regular cleaning and inspection. The strategic positioning of our cleaning eyes at critical points in the ventilation system - such as after bends, in front of filters or at junctions - enables efficient and complete maintenance without time-consuming disassembly work.

Our Beck cleaning eyes are specially developed T-pieces with a 90° outlet and screw-on blind cover, which allow easy access to ventilation systems for inspection and maintenance work. These precision-manufactured components are injection-moulded up to d 250 and seamlessly machine-formed from d 280, with a minimum wall thickness of 3 mm in accordance with DIN 4741. The through-pipe has a socket connection on both sides for connection by welding, while the outlet piece is equipped with a tightly screw-fitting blind cover. Beck cleaning eyes are available in various thermoplastic materials - PVC (RAL 7011), PVC-UV stabilized (white), PPs (RAL 7037), PP (RAL 7032), PE (black), PPs-el (black) and PVDF (natural) - and thus offer optimum chemical resistance for every application.
Chemical resistance even under extreme conditions
Beck cleaning eyes are made from carefully selected thermoplastic materials that offer exceptional resistance to aggressive and corrosive media. Seven different materials are available depending on the area of application and chemical load: PVC (iron grey RAL 7011) for general applications up to 50°C, PVC-UV stabilized (white) for external areas, PPs (dust grey RAL 7037) for flame-retardant designs, PP (pebble grey RAL 7032) for elevated temperatures up to 80°C, PE (black) for lower temperatures down to -20°C, PPs-el (black) for electrostatic dissipative properties and PVDF (natural) for the highest chemical and thermal requirements up to 120°C. This variety of materials makes the Beck cleaning eyes the ideal choice for use in chemical laboratories, pharmaceutical plants, semiconductor industries and other demanding environments where conventional materials would corrode quickly. Even with frequent opening and closing, the tightness is permanently maintained as the screw connection and the sealing area are made of the same chemical-resistant materials.
Seamless integration into existing ventilation systems
The Beck cleaning eyes are characterized by their precise manufacturing and sophisticated design, which enables seamless integration into new or existing ventilation systems. The socket connections on both sides of the through-pipe allow easy connection by welding to other Beck components or standardized pipe systems. The minimum wall thickness of 3 mm or DIN 4741 guarantees a robust and durable construction that can withstand frequent inspections and cleaning. The T-piece design with 90° outlet enables space-saving installation without significantly impairing the flow in the main duct. The same material selection as for the other system components avoids material incompatibilities and ensures consistent chemical resistance of the entire ventilation system. Particularly noteworthy is the flow-optimized internal geometry, which minimizes pressure loss and thus contributes to the energy efficiency of the entire system - an important economic factor in continuously operated industrial ventilation systems.
