Beck gaskets are manufactured from specially selected thermoplastic materials that have been specifically developed for use with aggressive and corrosive media. Depending on the area of application and chemical load, different material variants are available that are optimally matched to the process media to be transported. The elastomers and plastics used offer excellent resistance to acids, alkalis, solvents and other aggressive chemicals. This superior material resistance prevents premature wear, embrittlement or swelling of the gaskets, ensuring a long service life even under extreme conditions in chemical laboratories, pharmaceutical plants and industrial environments with corrosive atmospheres.

The Beck gaskets are specially adapted to the thermoplastic materials in the Beck product portfolio and guarantee an optimum connection without material incompatibilities. They have been specifically developed for use with PVC, PPs, PP, PE, PPs-el and PVDF, thus avoiding the typical problems that can occur when combining unsuitable materials, such as chemical reactions, stress corrosion cracking or galvanic corrosion. This perfect match means that the gaskets have the same temperature resistance as the components to be connected - from -20°C for PE systems up to 120°C for PVDF applications. For electrically conductive PPs-el systems, special conductive sealing materials are used to ensure continuous potential equalization throughout the system, thus increasing safety in explosion-protected areas.

The high-precision manufacturing of our gaskets ensures a perfect fit and reliable sealing under all operating conditions. The precisely maintained tolerances ensure even pressure distribution across the entire sealing surface and prevent leaks even with fluctuating operating pressures or vibrations. The surface quality and dimensional accuracy of the gaskets are designed to achieve a reliable seal even at minimum contact pressures, which reduces stress on the flange connections and increases the service life of the entire system. The compressibility of the gaskets is carefully balanced to provide both the necessary adaptability to surface irregularities and the required restoring force for a permanently tight connection. This sophisticated design minimizes maintenance requirements and contributes to trouble-free operation of the entire ventilation system.
