Beck reductions have an optimized flow design, which significantly reduces pressure loss in the ventilation system. The uniform cross-sectional constriction without edges or interruptions ensures an optimal flow pattern and minimizes turbulence. Seamless production for larger sizes and precise injection molding for smaller sizes ensure a uniform inner surface without weld seams or unevenness, which further reduces air resistance. This translates directly into lower operating costs for blowers and fans and contributes to the overall efficiency of the system.

The reductions from Beck are high-quality plastic fittings for connecting and reducing two pipe ends of different diameters with an internal pipe guide stop in ventilation systems for chemically contaminated process air. They are available in symmetrical and asymmetrical versions and are injection-molded (up to d 315) or seamlessly machine-formed (from d 355), depending on the dimensions. The reductions are characterized by a minimum wall thickness of 3 mm and otherwise comply with the requirements of DIN 4741. In addition to the classic version with socket connection on both sides for welding, Beck also offers innovative reductions up to DN 315 with the EffiTech plug-in system, which enable tool-free assembly thanks to an injection-molded 5-fold lip seal based on polymer.

Revolutionary installation technology with the EffiTech plug-in system

The reductions equipped with the innovative EffiTech plug-in system revolutionize the installation of ventilation components. The patented 5-fold polymer-based lip seal enables tool-free, foolproof installation by simply plugging them together. This saves considerable time during installation, requires no welding skills and allows flexible deployment of personnel. The automatic alignment of the pipe-socket connections by the internal pipe guide stop guarantees precise positioning. The unproblematic connection of different materials - from plastic pipes to stainless steel pipes - is particularly advantageous. Even with negative overpressure of up to 10,000 Pa, the system remains absolutely tight and chemically resistant.

Variety of materials for maximum chemical resistance

Beck reducers are made from high-quality thermoplastic materials that offer exceptional resistance to aggressive and corrosive media. Various materials are available depending on the application: PVC (RAL 7011) for general applications, PVC-UV stabilized (white) for UV-exposed areas, PPs (RAL 7037) for flame-retardant versions, PP (RAL 7032) for elevated temperatures up to 80°C, PE (black) for lower temperatures down to -20°C, PPs-el (black) for electrostatic dissipative properties and PVDF (natural) for the highest chemical and thermal requirements. This variety of materials makes Beck reducers ideal for use in chemical laboratories, pharmaceutical plants, biotech applications and other demanding environments where metallic components would corrode quickly.
